Dear collector,
I'm so excited to welcome you to my very first newsletter! This space is where I'll share not just my artworks, but also stories, inspirations and begind-the-scenes movements that shape each piece.
Today, I'd love to introduce you to one of my most meaningful works.
This hyperrealist portrait explores the deep connection between African identity and heritage. The patterns and textures draw from traditional fabrics and symbols, reminding us that even in a modern world, our roots continue to speak through us.
What inspired me most was my curiosity as a young Nigerian artist asking: “How do we carry our ancestors’ strength into the present?” This piece is my answer.

When creating this work, I spent days layering charcoal for depth before carefully adding the acrylic background. It was a process of patience, rhythm, and a deep dialogue with culture.
